Kat Duncan is the senior video editor for RJI Futures Lab. She launched a new video series, Innovation in Focus, which explores emerging tech and tools for journalists. She produces the segments of Innovation in Focus, as well as mentors student videographers on her team.
Grace is a junior journalism student at a public university. Her emphasis is news writing, but she wants to learn more about some of the new technology infiltrating the journalism world on her own in order to strengthen her job applications. Grace is extremely social media savvy and never leaves home without her Samsung Galaxy S8, which she uses to browse the web and keep in touch with friends.

He wants to impress his superiors and hopes to advance in his field. Sam wants to stay up to date on technological advancements and how they can be used in journalism. He is pursuing a drone license, but wants to stretch it beyond there. Sam mostly uses his MacBook to access the web because he does so much editing on it.
